Effective date: October 10, 2026
St. Louis Storm Shelters keeps the personal information on this site to a minimum. Here's what we gather, what it's for, and what you can ask of us.
What you give us
The quote request asks for your name, an email address, your city and ZIP code, and details about the home: foundation type, where a shelter might go, household size, and whether anyone needs step-free access. You can also upload photos. Accessibility details help us size and place a shelter; you don't have to give them.
We don't take payments online. There's no phone field on the form.
What the site records on its own
Analytics software counts visits and records general information — which pages were viewed, the browser used, the site you came from, and a rough location based on IP address. We look at it in aggregate to make the site better, not to identify anyone.
Why we use it
- Replying to you, arranging the site visit and writing your quote.
- Passing project details to the installation crew who would quote and install the shelter.
- Improving the website.
Your information isn't sold.
Cookies

How long we keep it
Quote requests are kept while we're working with you and for a reasonable period afterward for business records.
Changing or removing it
Reply to one of our emails, or send a new message through the quote form marked "privacy request," and tell us what to correct or delete.
Updates
When this policy changes, the effective date at the top changes with it.
